Meet Your Host - Mark Turnbull
Mark has spent 35 years in food retail. Over that time, he's helped grow his family butchery business from £700k turnover into a £4 million food hall - expanding the offer, strengthening their marketing, and building a loyal customer base along the way.
Today, alongside running that business, Mark works closely with butchers and farm shop owners across the UK, helping them build stronger positioning, clearer marketing systems, and more predictable trade.
Everything in this session comes from real-world experience inside a working food retail business - not theory.

The day begins at 8:00am and finishes between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, depending on the flow of the day and discussions.
Is food provided?
Yes, refreshments and lunch will be provided during the day. There will also be an optional informal meal the evening before for those who wish to join.
